Ellen H. Clapsaddle was a prolific artist whose work appears on countless Victorian postcards which I collect.  Her holiday images captivate me; however, her work has been marred by faded colors, specks, holes, scratches and deteriorating paper.  What follows are my restorations and reinventions of her marvelous work.  This is my second Thanksgiving postcard page and the eighth set of Clapsaddle cards I've restored.

[Notes: There is no longer an artist's copyright on the original cards.  I digitally rendered the children's faces on these cards, replacing them with the faces of my grandchildren Chloe, Justin and Connor.  In addition to the restorations, I designed this web set.  The animations come from the Animation Factory, a subscription service.  BBR.]
